The Indian cricket team is to tour England for a five-match Test series next year. The fourth phase of the ICC World Test Championship will start by then and this Test series will be a part of it. The ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 will be over by then. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released the England Men’s and Women’s 2025 Summer International Fixture and it also schedules India’s five-Test series. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma will tour England to play a five-match Test series between June and August next year. At the same time, the Indian women’s team will also be on an England tour and a five-match T20 International series will be played between the two during that time.
The Indian men’s team’s five-match Test series will be played between June 20 and August 4, while the Indian women’s team’s five-match T20 International series will be played between June 28 and July 12. The Indian women’s cricket team will then play a three-match ODI International series between July 16 and July 22. Talking about the India vs England Test series, the first Test match will be played between June 20 and 24 at Headingley ground in Leeds, followed by the second Test match between July 2 and 6 at Edgbaston ground in Birmingham.
The third Test match will be played at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London from 10 to 14 July. The fourth Test match is to be played at Emirates Old Trafford ground in Manchester from 23 to 27 July. The last and fifth Test match of the series will be played at The Kia Oval ground in London from 31 July to 4 August.
