There is going to be a debate between US Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump regarding the presidential election. Trump has started preparing for it. He has chosen a Hindu woman leader to help him with the debate speech. Trump has brought forward former Democratic Congress and Hindu-American leader Tulsi Gabbard to help him intensify his attacks. The New York Times has given this information in its report.
Donald Trump and Indian-origin leader Kamala Harris will face off in the ABC News debate on September 10. Tulsi left the Democratic Party after the 2020 presidential race and re-established herself as a celebrity among Trump supporters. She has been friends with Trump for a long time. There was also speculation about their affair for some time.
Tulsi Gabbard defeated Kamala Harris in a memorable onstage debate. According to the NYT report, Trump’s spokeswoman Caroline Levitt confirmed Tulsi Gabbard’s participation in an email.
Levitt said the former president has proven to be one of the best debaters in political history, defeating Joe Biden in the first round. He won’t need traditional debate preparation, but he will continue to meet with respected policy advisers and effective communicators like Tulsi Gabbard.
Trump also says he doesn’t need to prepare for debates. The former president has spent more time practicing for debates this year than he did in 2016 or 2020.
He still doesn’t do traditional debate preparation. No one played him ahead of the June 27 debate on CNN. Trump sat down with advisers for time or informally on plane trips to discuss potential topics and questions ahead of his June CNN debate with Biden.
Tulsi had alleged that Kamala Harris jailed more than 1,500 people for marijuana violations when she was a district attorney in San Francisco and then laughed when asked if she had ever smoked marijuana. She also accused Kamala Harris of destroying evidence that could have got an innocent man out of the death row.
