A case of robbery at gunpoint in a house in Bilaspur has come to light. It is being told that three miscreants entered a house on the afternoon of 9th August. They robbed the jewellery at gunpoint. After which the victims lodged a complaint with the police. The police have arrested three miscreants along with the looted goods within 24 hours.
The entire case is of Sarkanda police station. Where on August 9, Shalini Devangan, wife of Shubham Devangan of Bhumi Vihar village Bijaur, lodged a report that three unknown people entered her house in Bhumi Vihar at around 2 pm and fled after robbing two mangalsutras and a ring at gunpoint. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the SP himself reached the spot with a police team and inspected it and searched the CCTV footage of the area. About 100 CCTV cameras were examined and the police team of the area got necessary and important clues regarding the incident on August 10. On the basis of which the police detained Babu Irani and his companions Subhash Nishad, Shivram Yadav and interrogated them. After which the accused confessed to the crime. The police have recovered the looted jewellery from them.
