On August 10, Rakshabandhan Utsav cum Gratitude programme would be organized in every Gram Panchayat and urban ward of the district for the beloved sisters. On August 28, on the occasion of Janmashtami festival, various programmes centered on the life story of Lord Krishna would be organized. Collector Singh held a meeting with officials regarding the preparations of Rakshabandhan Utsav cum Gratitude programme and Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan in the district.

Collector Singh informed that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer an amount of Rs 1900 crore to the accounts of Ladli sisters of the state through a single click from a program organized in Sheopur district of the state on August 10, 2024. During this, Rakshabandhan Utsav cum Aabhar program will be organized for Ladli sisters at about 25000 places including all the districts of the state. He directed that on August 10, Rakshabandhan cum Aabhar program should be organized as a festival in all the gram panchayats and urban wards of Chhindwara district. ADM, Municipal Corporation Commissioner and District Program Officer Women and Child Development should also make arrangements for organizing a grand program at the district level. Along with including Ladli sisters at all places, local public representatives should also be invited with respect.
During the Rakshabandhan cum Aabhar program, arrangements should be made for tying of Rakhi by Ladli sisters, Sawan Utsav songs, selfie points, gifts to Ladli sisters, local cultural programs, speeches by Ladli sisters at all places in the district. Plantation should also be done at all the program sites under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. He directed the concerned local bodies to make arrangements for the state level program and live telecast of the Chief Minister at all places and to ensure photo-videography of all. Collector Singh was giving necessary guidelines to the district officials regarding the preparations for the Rakshabandhan Utsav cum Aabhar program, Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan and Janmashtami Utsav organized for Ladli sisters on August 10 in a meeting held in the mini meeting hall of the Collector’s office today. The officers of the district headquarters joined the meeting from the meeting hall while all other officers of the district were involved through video conference.
Collector Singh said that as per the wishes of Prime Minister Modi, like last year, this year also Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan will be run from 11th August to 15th August. Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan should be celebrated in the district with full dignity by following the flag code. Tricolor flag should be hoisted in every house of the district. He directed that all the local bodies should assess the requirement of flags and make arrangements for their availability. Flags of last year can also be used. As per the amendment in the flag code, the tricolor flag can be hoisted in houses at any time, but the flag should be clean and well pressed. A torn or dirty flag should not be used under any circumstances, also make the general public aware in this regard. Such flags should be disposed of by digging a pit and burying it in the ground.
He has directed the School Education Department, Higher Education Department, Women and Child Development Department and all districts and urban bodies to ensure the organization of various activities like Tricolor Rally, Tiranga Yatra, Tricolor Marathon, Shila Falakam program to honor the martyrs in their memory, Selfie with Tricolor, Canvas, Signature Campaign, Tricolor Pledge, Essay on Tricolor, Speech, Painting, Debate Competition etc. in a dignified manner from 12 to 14 August under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. He has also directed to invite elected public representatives in all these programs and to celebrate it as a festival by involving every section of the society including various NGOs, social organizations. He has also directed to organize various events centered on the life story of Lord Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami on 26 August.
